The Lemaire Channel is a scenic strait located off the Antarctic Peninsula, specifically between the mainland's Graham Land and Booth Island. The channel is approximately 11 kilometers (7 miles) long and about 1,600 meters (5,250 feet) wide at its narrowest point.
