The Lincoln arrived for permanent home porting in January 1997. Naval Station Everett is also the permanent homeport for three destroyers, three frigates and a US Coast Guard buoy tender and a military sealift command ship that spends most of the time away from Everett. |||| 16,000 uniformed and civilian personnel and their families make a $350 million impact on Everett and Snohomish County. In addition, the base buys $100 million a year in goods and services, ranging from ship repair to paper goods.
