Album Info:
This was the last American rocket launcher to enter service during World War II. It fired the M16 4.5-inch spin-stabilized rocket. A few T-66s saw action in Czechoslovakia in May 1945. Five additional rocket battalions were organized in 1945 but none made it into combat before the end of the war in the Pacific. The T-66 later saw use during the Korean War with both the Army and the Marine Corps.
