This little german was one brave man. He has the Iron Cross 2nd Class, the Winter campaign ribbon, the infantry assault badge, what looks like a wound badge, and the officer is pinning a tank destruction badge on his shoulder. That means this guy went up to a tank on foot and blew it up. Also, the cuff titles look like the Grossdeutschland division, one of the best in the wehrmacht.
