Album Info:
I know my mother taught in Avonport early in her career, so I'm guessing this would have been her class. It is stamped Sept. 17, 1941. Mom often spoke of an endearing little fellow named Charlie Haliburton (who later became a noted judge); it seems that this young man used to visit his siblings and "attend" class even though he was only four! I wonder if the child standing out in front would be Charlie.

What a sweet photo! I'll bet it could be lightened and clarified a little. Your guess about Charlie could be right on the money. His family might love this photo if they don't have it.
