The Russian communists by the way would never have taken all of Europe simply because America had the atomic bomb first and was ready to use it, if necessary. Stalin knew that. It's sad that many ordinary, decent people on all sides who didn't want to be a part of any world war in the first place ended up paying the real price... with their lives.

I lover this photo, I pray for this soldier's soul (If deceased)as i pray for all poor lost souls who are sent into useless battles. He has a iron cross, another two campaign insignia and a badge that says "Gott mit uns" or to that effect. The binoculars are top quality probably "Zeiss" and he has a MP at the ready. It is tragic that such men were sacrificed for nothing. And even worse that it really helped Stalin to becoma such a menace as he was.
