    • That huge crane, for the longest time held up a huge American flag. I don't know if it was down d/t weather, or what the case being. This whole area had been strip mined over the years, making the ground much softer, thus allowing the plane to bury so deeply into the ground. The area over top of the crane was, again, over the recent years, finished being mined for coal and filled back in- for so many years during my teens and twenties, it was like a mini Grand Canyon beyond that crane. Where is sits, it can be seen for miles around-
