Album Info:
With nearly 3.5 miles of frontage on the St. Johns River, the community of RiverTown takes inspiration from its next-door neighbor. The river breezes seem to whisper like a muse providing guidance to balancing the beauty of the river and natural surroundings and the homes and amenities that will be nestled among them. Time and attention have been spent planning this community in Northwest St. Johns County and we are now ready to share our natural gem with you. RiverTown is a community that will embrace the outdoors and its most valuable asset—the river. Homeowners will be able to enjoy the beauty and recreational activities of the St. Johns River through Riverfront Park, which will run along about one mile of river frontage and include more than 50 acres of natural area, a community dock, fishing pier, an event lawn and waterfront overlook areas. Jogging and walking trails will wind through the park offering outstanding views. Phase 1 of Riverfront Park is currently under construction, and plans call to have it completed by the end of this year. Imagine the convenience and ease of coming home from work and enjoying a walk along the meandering trails beside the river or being able to grab your fishing pole and drop a line with your children to catch their first fish. If you prefer a little more sport, launch your kayak from the community dock and watch the sun set from a different perspective. Construction is underway on the RiverHouse and Amenity Center, which will boast a fitness center, lap pool, kid-friendly pool with slide, tennis courts and playfields. The RiverHouse, which is planned to be a social hub for homeowners, and Amenity Center are expected to be completed in early 2012. More than two miles of walking trails, winding around the community's lakes and parks, are planned to connect the neighborhoods in RiverTown. Builders with strong reputations for quality craftsmanship, design and service, have elected to build in the RiverTown community—David Weekley Homes, Dennis Homes, Mattamy Homes and MasterCraft Builder Group. The homes will reflect traditional architecture, including American Farmhouse, Arts & Crafts, Colonial/Classic Revival, Southern Vernacular and Mediterranean styles. Many of the homes will feature large front porches, deep-roof overhangs, columns and unique building materials consistent with each homes' architectural style. As you walk along the pedestrian friendly tree-lined streets, homes will appear unique and different, just like the community from which they emerge. Home prices will start in the $180s. In addition to the unsurpassed natural beauty, outstanding planned amenities and quality homes, the schools serving RiverTown are desirable. There is an elementary, middle and high school neighboring the community. Come see the new RiverTown and experience why homeowners love to "Follow the River Home." Artwork done by AudreyPeaty.com
