Use this picture to navigate your way around the main wreck debris field. The captions in the relevant photos correspond with this map. This map is a copy from an Interim Report that was carried out on S89 in 2003. Although I was unable to locate the Gas tank buried on the beach, I did locate Prop shaft P1 which was part covered by shingle. Also located in a rock pool nearby Engine E2 was a large hoop similar to a port hole but slightly bigger, possibly part of the torpedo tubes? (photographed but did not turn out). A further investigation is planned of the wreck sight in April 2008 when a more through search will be conducted.
