Well, that's complete nonsense, t90rules. The U.S. military can win any conflict that the politicians decide to allow it to win. It was once said that all the armies of the world could not by force, in a war lasting 100 years, drink from the Ohio River or make a track in the Blueridge Mountains. That was written a long time ago, and is still true to this day. If you can find any nation that wants to go toe-to-toe with the U.S. military in a real war... bring them on; you can even lead them if you have the guts. But, I think you'll alone since you won't find any takers. The U.S. has a "real army", what it lacks is real politicians who get involved in wars they have no business getting involved in, and don't allow the army to conduct its own business to further complicate the matter.

Keep marching east? ##### yankees barely made it to Germany, fighting eastern front invalids and other unfit German uints. Yanks, Brits and French combined would have been defeated by the Germans in a matter of days, but they had that Eastern front to take care of. Had Patton turned on the Soviets, by June 1945, he would be drowning in the English channel. Get a real army first Americans, tough in words, useless on battlefireld. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan global failures every time.
