  • The T34 was a good tank, but the Germans had no particular trouble destroying them. We tend to think of tank v. tank, but the Germans had a variety of crew served anti-tank guns that would make short work of any tank.

  • I'd love to send back a few Leopard II tanks to Deutschland in early 1941 ... 5,000 will do. A few hundred fighters and helicopter gunships. Then form an SS army around this. Have MECTb as the macot, naturally. But beaten black and blue till he shouted Nazi propaganda. LMAO

  • It is astounding that there was no other tank on the battlefield in 1941 that was even a close 2d to the T-34 in terms of combat performance. Yet they were handled so poorly at the tactical and strategic level that the Germans certainly didn't seem to have much of a problem destroying them!
