The last wedding in Peru Union Quaker Church, 1860, was that of Cynthia Hoag Knowles and William Keese. She was 63 and he was 74. It was his third marriage and her second. Their marriage contract hangs on the wall in the Historian's Office and lists all the witnesses. Donated by the Stafford Family.
