It's the natural world that primarily inspires me, but there are some buildings I've been lucky enough to see that are truly magnificent, such as the Alhambra and La Sagrada Familia in Spain, the Opera House, Sydney, (pre-digital camera), and the these Mayan ruins of Tikal, in Guatamala, rising from the jungle floor reminding us of achievements past, (but their vertical shots!)
