Album Info:

Made of silk and embroidered decorations, this pattern of regimental colors was adopted in 1906 and is still used today. The device in the center of the shield is a stand or round of grapeshot, a Revolutionary War era anti-personnel round of ammunition. This flag was used by the 1st Artillery Regiment when they were stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas.
