sorry but the earrings shown above are not the greville earrings. these are gifts of king george VI and queen elizabeth to princess elizabeth and were made from family diamonds. she used to were them a lot during the early part of her reign.

However, it's certainly not her favourite set of jewelry. She's not tall and I don't think I've seen pictures of her with those earrings. They'd be heavy as well as large. I dunno, but they seem a little over the top. But what do I know?
