Album Info:
I believe this postcard shows the Doughty Building (two story) on the right, which was at 8th street; and the Simms Restaurant building (when Simms moved from 8th to Moorlyn Terrace) on the left. If that is true, then the Moorlyn building (bowling alley, then theater) is missing. It would be in the middle and apparently wasn't built yet. That suggests that the Simms building, which still stands, is probably the oldest building on the boardwalk. Notice that the municipal music pier has not been built. The picture was obviously taken in 1904 or earlier. I think it was taken around 1901.
