Spilotro family plot marker which includes brothers Anthony and Michael Spilotro. Anthony "The Ant" Spilotro was a protoge' of, and one of the murderers of, "Mad" Sam DeStefano. Anthony Spilotro was the Chicago mob's connection in Las Vegas, and helped to control their interests there. Those interests included looking after the Chicago mob owned Stardust hotel, and making sure the bosses in Chicago got their cut of the "skim", which is money taken off the top of the profits before it had a chance to be counted and taxed. After falling out of favor with the Chicago mob for bringing too much negative attention from the federal government with his out of control antics and strongarm tactics engineered by his personal "Hole In The Wall" gang, Anthony, along with his brother Michael, were murdered in the basement of a suburban Chicago home, and buried in a shallow grave in an Indiana cornfield.
