Main entrance on Lake Avenue, Manchester, NH The 83rd institution founded by the Sisters of Providence (then known as the FCSP: Filles de la charité, servantes des pauvres) on August 11, 1892. Originally an orphanage, it was established at the request of the Reverend Joseph A.
