Lieutenant John W. Finn, USN (Ret.) and Chief Warrant Officer Julio 'Jay' Ereneta, USN (Ret.) are wartime commissioned Naval Officers. They were former enlisted Chief Petty Officers [Finn, Aviation Chief Ordnanceman (ACOM); Ereneta, Aviation Chief Radioman (ACRM Combat Aircrewman)]. Ninety-four (94) year old Finn is America's oldest living Medal of Honor Recipient and the last surviving Medal of Honor, 'The Day of Infamy', Japanese Attack on the Hawaiian Islands, 7 December 1941. One hundred two (102) year old Ereneta is a veteran of World War One and World War Two. He first flew aircrewman in August 1922. Ereneta flew rearseat Radioman/Gunner in air squadrons of the U. S. Navy's first aircraft carriers, USS LANGLEY (CV-1) and USS LEXINGTON (CV-2). He is one of the oldest living sailors and Naval Aviation officers.
