This light was established in 1902 at nearby Pointe Echouerie and moved to Pointe Bonaventure in 1907. Although one source states that the lighthouse is still in use, it is not currently listed as an active aid to navigation Ce phare a ete construit en 1902 a la Pointe Echouerie et a ete demenage a la Pointe Bonaventure en 1907.Ce phare est toujours en operation mais il n'est pas considere comme aide actif pour la navigation.
