The Greek Orthodox cemetery sits in an acre of West Norwood cemetery and contains 17 Grade II & II* listed mausolea with other graves and tombstones from the Greek community that settled Victorian London, England, UK. Several died as millionaires, leaving generous bequests to English and Greek culture. The construction of their memorials alludes to classical Greece, with a Parthenon, Athenian statuary, dramatic Pre-Raphaelite scultures and Lycean tombs.
