IJssel Line: the three barrages of the IJssel Line were of course protected against infantry and airborne attacks. This defense was provided by fixed Sherman tanks armed with a medium machine-gun. Originally this tank was embedded in a dike, but some earth has been removed in the nineties. In the back you can see another tank turret. For more photos please visit www.fortweb.net
