In the foreground Pte. Val Calpin checks the level of petrol in the jerrycans, used to operate the m59 petrol cookers, Val was one of the cooks, sadly he died a few years later from a brain tumour, behind him is Cpl. Ricky " Wave at the seagulls" Duffy he got the name from some of the physical evoloutions he had us perform in Finner Camp, Donegal,Eire before going overseas. In the background a Panard APC armed with twin 7.62mm GPMGs.
