This is a photocopy of the original baptismal registry of ADELAIDE BOURGEOIS, d/o PIERRE+OLIVE MARTEL of Sainte-Monique de Nicolet, Quebec parish. The first line is the signature of the previous entry. The highlighting is mine. The entry had to be precise, according to a specific formula decided upon by the Bishop of the diocese. The priest entering the data in the registry had to copy the formula and include the names of the persons involved in the ceremony.
