The lower east end of Stafford Co. and the upper west end of Westmoreland county were divided by the Upper Machodoc Creek. This map portrays that boundary to the best of my knowledge. The map also shows Prince William County which was formed from Stafford and King George Counties in 1730. On January 1, 1777, the present day boundaries of Stafford, King George and Westmoreland took effect.
