Giving testimony to the lasting popularity of this fictional cowboy hero is the very real fact that a dozen of the novels are still in print. Picture was taken in the back yard of our apartment building on Sullivan Street in Manchester, NH, which belonged to Edgar Lemay and his wife, Jeannette Ducharme
