Wow! What a delightful album! Every photo is a treasure! The schools are amazing and I loved the chalk all over the desks in the pioneer school! There are still one room school houses around today and this album is a tribute to them! Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos!!! Take care!!! Jane

Thank you so much for this fascinating album. My Aunt Helen began her teaching career in a one room schoolhouse in West Virginia. I will have to check with my mother (83 yrs old) to see where that school was.

Hi Kay! What a wonderful album to remind us of our school days. Bob went to grade school in a one room schoolhouse back in Illinois. I grew up in a larger town, so had a larger school, but those were the good old days. Thanks so much for sharing these photos. All your pictures are so beautifully composed and so colorful. Kay, I have really enjoyed your albums. It would be difficult to chose a favorite. I have an old school map I got from an old school that was torn down in the 50s. The map is from the 30s or 40s I believe. I really enjoyed this album. I will add you to my favorite users so I can keep up on your work. Congratulations on such fine photography. Hi Kay and Bill, I really enjoyed the visit to this album, those paddles on the teacher's desk sure brought back some memories, thankfully, I never had any used on me, but I remember teacher's threatening some students with them (I'm telling my age, now.) That wood floor in the schoolroom is beautiful, you guys sure take some awesome photos! Thanks for your prayers, you are so very sweet, my Mother will appreciate it too! Candy

I sure had fun viewing the album. You did a good job. My mother used to teach in a 2 room school, but it was quite a bit newer than these. Great idea.
