I was traveling in NY on Business last June and one night, after my business meeting concluded, I drove to Elmira... which was a little over an hour away. I got there just as a rainstorm passed and the setting sun cast a misty green haze through the dripping, leaf laden branches surrounding the silent manicured grounds. It was a peaceful, yet tragic place and I spent the next two hours walking row by row to discover all the graves of the men who served with the 6th North Carolina. As I stood by each Grave, I said a little prayer and let these brave men know they will never be forgotten in North Carolina! I hope you enjoy the pictures. Rick
