  • Hi my name is Ron Eller I was a radio relay and carrier operator at Camp Peterson in 68 and 69 while I was there I was one of a few guys who worked on the dmz installing detector devices, wires in the ground to sense metal that passed over it. We returned to Camp Peterson for a day and on the trip back up I had a seizure in the back of a duece and a half and was taken to the mash unit close to the camp. I am trying to find anyone who was there and remembers what happened to me to prove that I was on the dmz, as the records that I have been able to get are very slim. I need this for my VA claim, ps they used Agent Orange on the zone, they admit, and around the bases in the northern areas which they still wont admit. If anyone out there can help please email me at businesscentsinc@aol.com Thanks Ron

  • Hi Lynn, I was in Camp Peterson in 1966-1967. I was a generator mechanic for the 2nd Platoon. I have a yearbook of the 122nd Signal Battalion for 1965-1966. I am also in contact with two other members of B Company. Joe Stanley was the driver for Lt. Petrone. Bernie Toporzycki was a 3rd Platoon lineman. I remember you and also your picture is in the yearbook I have. I would like to hear from others. Sp-4 Carl Gladden

  • I was the Bn. Adjutant and Hq. Det. Commander from around Sept. 1967 through about May 1968 at which time I took over A Company till I left in March 1969. I had a few more months than a normal tour. George Fox was the C Co. Commander. B Company was down the road from the Bn. Compond on Camp Howze.
