Album Description:

These pictures are from my father's collection from WWII when he was with RCAF 400 and 414 squadrons. Dad was a participant in the first ever recorded "kill" by a Mustang. "Holly" Hills who made the kill was flying cover for Dad who was making a low level

  • Hi an excellent album of photos, On page 5, are two photos taken at the WW2 airfield close to where I used to live, (identified by the unique layout) The photos are - Mustang 'O' & Mustang AM251.   • Very interesting. Even more so as C. H. Stover was brought down near Caen (France) during WWII and part of his airplane has been unearthed recently.
