Originally Headlands Grammar school,it opened in august 1952,eventually becoming Headlands Comprehensive School.It closed on August 31, 2004 and on September 1, Headlands School was born. The newly built Swindon Academy opened in September 2009 to replace Headlands School, Pinehurst Junior School and Pinehurst Infant School.After securing permission to photograph the site,the site agent walked round the outside for about 15 minutes,then when I wanted to see some insides,he abruptly said I had seen enough and taken all the pics I needed!Many thanks for next to nothing fella!
