I love history in books and I love it on the screen, too! I must thank you, Eric, for this MOST CAPTIVATING collection! You took the trouble to shoot from many angles, interiors and exteriors and so many details....the whole album is a great treat!Friendliest regardss, Gabriela

Thank you, Eric, for these extraordinary history lessons! We realize how little we know about the England apart the "classical" places! One can well have admired -even several times- Oxford, Cambridge etc. - you ignore 90% of what your country was and is! Well: fortunately people like you exist...and the excellent pictures and comments where necessary help memorize a lot! Take care! Kaethi and Henri

Hi Eric, I am happy to hear you get along better now. Thanks for the tour through your ' Heritage open days'. A walk in the past. At some point I just stopped to comment; for not to comment each picture. The album is very interesting, especially where I found well know items. I so much love well restored history. My father used to restore furniture for museums, so this must be my heritage. Thanks for looking at my newest Israel album. :-) Thanks for the name of the hooded crow. I new you would be so nice and complete this picture. :-) About the migrating birds: I've heard on TV the numbers are smaller this year – but still some millions. I have no idea how they count them. Yes, one month of retirement is over and I am still filling out forms and more forms. I think every day they invent some new. Take care and stay well! - Galit

Hi Eric, The first thing I noticed was the "perfect weather" you had for the Heritage Days. I looked up "Heritage Days" and love the idea of visiting all these places for free. Great shots and great history lesson. Louise
