Album Description:
Electric utility workers came to my house to replace utility poles, and the cable guy was there too, so I thought I'd take some pictures of the process. This album is dedicated to all our hard working utility people!

Hi June, beautiful pictures of the great work these Electric utility workers and the cable guy did to your house to replace the utility poles. I bet this was very interesting to watch. Thanks for sharing, kisses and cuddles for your girls, Faith and Silver. Hugs, Henri and Josee.

Hi there. I live in N.M. And my husband is a Linesman for our local CO-OP for 13yrs now. It's great to watch him work and me and our kids do, every chance we get!! We know there are very real risks. These guys are worth so much, in so many ways, but they are Priceless to their families. But it's all about; getting the lights back on!Thank you for the great photos. Sheryl In NM.

Hi June! Thanks for nice presentation of a gorgeous album with us; Pics are very nice & I warmly enjoyed their beauties. You have chosen a noble subject for photography; these utility workers sometimes take risk of their lives for our safe & comfort living. Thanks for nice compliments on my albums. My best wishes for you. Greetings from Sharif.

This was a nice idea, June. My husband used to do just this for the electricity company here in Tasmania. I used to be very frightened when he was called out during fierce storms. It can be so dangerous. Sometimes they would be out for 18 hours at a time. I am so glad that he no longer has to do this!

Kool idea. I should try to get some pics of the Utility Co. Tree Trimmers when they come out here to trim the trees near the Power lines. When I planted those trees I thought I was far enough away -- but alas -- those branches spread a lot further than I thought. There is No Charge for the service -- cheaper for them to do that than having to replace pole etc. after strong winds -- we do have PLENTY of those out here. Some Drunk took out the Pole down on the main road -- we were without for over 10 hours all night -- we thought it a LOT safer for crew than trying to restore power in dark. Charley

Dearest sweet June. This is indeed a very interesting album and a great tribute to all the working people. Without them we would have to do with petroleum and candles again. Nothing against, but only for some romantic hours. lol

So now I know how they do that back in your place. Congrats on having electricity again. What would we do without it. These guys are the electric heroes! Fine album, June. I liked it very much. Greetz, Tjebbe

Dear June, this is a great album of something we take for granted....that is until we are without. A nice tribute album to the men who work so hard to make our lives comfortable. Great work June. Hugs Leslie

I've seen them as I drive by and we take them for granted. This is a very good album. To actually see the work in progress was interesting. Thank you for sharing this wonderful album.

Very interesting album June!! Amen that they are hard working men!! We had power problems from the storms and those men worked huge shifts for days on end. We are so addicted to electricity - just about everything we want to do involves power of some sort. No more riding horseback to town! LOL - Blessings, DeeAnne

Hi June, terrific album! Your excitement and enjoyment of watching people hard working is nicely documented on these photos. On the other hand...they use awesome equipment...and sometimes I ask them to remove some trees close to power line approaching our cottage :))) I really enjoyed your shots. Greetings, Rafal
