How beautiful the snow is. April can be crazy weather, but when have we seen this much snow ths late in the year? We got our snow this morning when we were having our huge neighborhood/community garage sale. Some people got 3 inches. It didn't last very long, though. When it quit snowing, it just melted, but I cam back chilled to the bone. It could be balmy next week and I am sure your plants will be fine. My birthday is 11 May and I remember years ago that we were still having frost then. Your Rhodie and Bleeding Hearts are lovely. Thanks for sharing! ~Marjie

Must have been quite a spectacle! That hardly is part of the earth-warming progress and more of a freak show. While typing I am looking u straight into ze right eye! Our cold is expected to-morrow, having passed the Cape of Good Hope on its way inland and we have been warned to do battle with three strains of influenza. Look after yourself.
