On Saturday the 26th I will be at the Cashtown Inn, in Gettysberg, which was featured on the TV Show, Ghost Hunters, last week. Hope to get some good pictures. Best of Luck, Bill

  • Hi Colin, Thanks for inviting. Yes, it is weird to see snow after easter. We had snow on last Friday, check it out in my cherry blossom album. You have just uploaded a great album about WWII which I found it a refresh on mind about history lesson. I think it is very important for people to see and learn from history, particularly young people. Thanks for sharing and have a nice week!

  • Hi Colin, Thanks for the invite to share your "Haunted" video. So, did any of your party get goosepimples. or feel any empathy with the Ghosts of Fightingmen of Yesteryear? In a novel I was reading recently (One of the "Bookman" series, if I recall it correctly!), the bookman visited an old abandoned fort in America - it dated back to to the war between North and South. Must get the book out and read it again - most interesting! (pity about my memory!).Your doc. brought it to mind. Onthe homefront, I have a son in the RAAF, and when I visited him in Canberra (the same year he tried to "do me in" by talking me into a stroll up Mt. Kosiousko - if I ever find the photos I took, I'll upload them), he took me to visit the National War Museum, and I was almost overcome by emotion when viewing the quilt made by the women POWs in Borneo. The courage, misery, heartache were reaching out to me, and I moved on with tears in my eyes. What a memory to fetch up! Must away - thanks for the look into the past. I abhore War, but someone has to defend us, don't they! Cheers. Margaret downunder.
