Breathtaking album about these incredible buildings, the lights are wondrous!! I was reading down below and saw the comments about tri poids.. I have one now it is fabulous tool to use, I also have a monopod because of the woods, hard to set up the tri pod. I have found they helped to with the little shake I would get a few years ago when I hurt my shoulder. I must come to WS more and visit. Big hugs;Kelly:)))

Dear Susan, Wow what an album of visual delights this is I can only imagine the atmosphere when those stunning projections were used on the buildings Thats not half of it though it must have taken a bit of skill and your tripod of course to get such great pictures to share with us. Thanks so much for stopping by my Ashridge forest album I know just how lucky I am to be able to experience that springtime spectacle each year and hopefully each year I get better at taking the pictures ;o)I find it hard to keep up with everyone too which is so sad so really glad you stopped by. Take care now. Love, Jill

Hi Susan! You are completely right about thefact that it is indeed sad that Marjons Feature was selected from my gallery album and not from her site. The point is that I will make the change you suggested but it will not make a difference because people do not red what is stated below the picture. Therefore I have been busy to put on at least a 100 people the following message: Thanks for congratulating me with “my”photo of the day. The gorgeous orange tinted photo of the meadow with curious sheep and a Dutch windmill on the horizon. However, it is not MY photo. When my camera had to go for repairs and stayed away for many weeks, I collected from Webshots the photos I liked best and I decided to turn those into a WEBSHOTS “gallery album” Of course I took up contact with all photographers and asked them to participate. They were asked to write the text accompanying the photo. In all cases their webshots address was mentioned next to the photo. The gallery was an enormous success and all participants were happy with it. I also made a second Gallery album; big fun again. Do me a favor and take up contact with Marjonnabar who made the photo…… She is my photobuddy… we virtually met on webshots until we met by chance in a dutch Tulip field! You can congratulate her with her upcoming birthday too (Sunday 17th august)! Her Webshots address= http://community.webshots.com/user/marjonnabar. Her photos are very beautiful and you will see also some nice parts of Holland as photographed by her as well as from other beautiful parts of Europe . If you want to see some recent work of mine do take trip to: www.photographersdirect.c om/annaoldenhave/search.a sp Thanks again for dropping by!! Greetz Anna

Allow me to recommend that you acquire a pair of ChromaDepth 3D glasses. This album was meant for viewing while wearing them. You can go online and do a Google product or shopping search for "ChromaDepth" and you should be able to find several suppliers. This is something you and your pard don't want to miss. Speaking of which, buy two pair minimum! Paul

Fabulous album! Another thing I noticed after viewing it all was the intentional dark spaces. There are spots, within archways for example, that are designed without light to keep the natural depth of the architecture.

A fantastic album, Susan! You and Brian have been very busy! I recently acquired a tripod in the hope that it would improve my nighttime photography, but after an aching back when taking shots of flowers and a sore neck when taking moon shots, I have decided that it is not for me! Some places (such as Picadilly Circus in London) look better in the dark, though I doubt that this would be the case with Adelaide! When we were younger and seriously intending to emigrate to Australia, Adelaide was our city of choice, but we never made it, as we were turned down by the Australian Immigration Authority. Thank you very much for sharing these amazing images and take good care of yourselves. Hugs, Kathryn

Congratulations Poppy, it is so beautiful. This album will have to be featured! (Last year I was at the ws front page with a portuguese monument iluminated with this same technique). This is so impressive :))) Your photos are stunning!

that was so awesome Poppy!! I enjoyed both yours and Birnas albums...I really do hope America takes some ideas from this and uses it here....The closest thing I can think of is the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas....where I'm going soon...so hopefully I can capture some images there.....and Happy belated Easter to you...! What an exquisite album this is! A breath taking display of light and art - working together to bring each building to life in its own unique way. I bet this is even more spectacular to view in person! Renee

Wow, Susan! What a treat technology can provide!! These colourfully lit and transformed buildings are made for a visual treat for overwhelming the senses. Your photography of this phenomemnon is simply outstanding. If you hadn't written the caption, I would not have quite known what to make of it. Thanks for the pictures and the intro. Best wishes, Suresh

I am so glad to see you have finally been able to upload a new album. This is simply supurb! I am so glad you dragged me to the city with you on so many hot nights over the past few weeks to take these photos. It was well worth it. It was good to get out of the house but so sorry I did need to keep resting on the benches. It is a fantastic light show and takes a few hours to see all 70 of the slides in the 7 buidlings. It was great how so many people (strangers) came to talk to us and ask about photography and how best to take the photos. Not many people realised they needed a tripod. I think we must have encouraged many hundreds of people to join webshots!! hugs Brian x
