HI JIM, I HAVE A SORT OF SMALL FIX FOR REARRANGING PHOTOS. IF YOU GRAB A PHOTO AND TAKE IT TO THE LAST SPOT BY THE SAVE BUTTON YOU CAN CLICK SAVE QUICKLY AND SAVE IT. IT IS A PAIN IN THE A$$ BUT I DID GET MY CC PHOTOS TO THE BEGINNING OF THE ALBUM. I ONLY HAD ABOUT 50 PHOTOS SO IT WASN'T TOO BAD. IT IS JUST A QUICK FIX UNTIL IE8 IS FIXED. THERESA

Jim, I rearranged my Bookmarked Photos page for color and appearance, and saved it. When I returned to my own albums page- CHAOS! I was upset, but decided to try to remember and restore order. When I clicked Rearrange- there was my ORIGINAL ORDER. All I had to do was click save, and all was restored. Has this happened to anyone else? ~Jade

Jim, I find this album very helpful. Something that I would love to see on Webshots is a members discussion board of photo enhancement software. I have Photoshop Elements 6 for the past year and am still struggling to understand it. Also, Webshots could benefit from so many of your ideas for their next update. I hope they are listening. Hi, Jim. First, thanks for your congrats on my first featured album. Then thanks for this help album. I haven't been using webshots much since the new desktop came out. I was afraid to download it after hearing all the negative reports. Now that we seem to have the unstable internet connection fixed (months of constant disconnects), I'll have to study this and try upgrading. Not too excited about the automatic downsizing....

Jim, thanks for all of your hard work trying to fix Webshot's problems. The unwanted advertising is one of my pet peeves. It has caused me to look for other photo sharing sites (and there are lots of them) and I have found a couple that I like better and will probably move my "paid" account to one of them. If Webshots do not listen to loyal members, such as yourself, who are expressing valid concerns and offering solutions, they will see a lot of members "voting with their feet". It's unfortunate because the majority of Webshot members are fantastic! Thanks again for all of your work. Brian.

Very informant album.Thanks for all the info. I no longer use I.E much prefer the simplicity of Google Chrome.It loads heaps faster and doesn't have as much clutter on it as I.E.

wow, this is really a good idea... I just bought a new computer, with Windows Vista.I like a lot of the features,now that I am getting used to it, after my first initial grumbling about change, and liking it XP. Only thing, some programs from my XP won't work. My Power DVD, my Picture It. Not a problem for you, for me to work out..but just wanted to say, how nice you have a page like this.Thankyou.

Thank you for this teaching album. I haven't been able to use WS Desktop for viewing WS albums or loading for over a year. I tried their recommendations which didn't work. I used it daily before that. With your advice, I might give it a try again.

Hey Jim. I've heard people talk about new and old home pages for a few months now but had no idea which I had. After viewing your album I have learned 2 things. I have the old version and I'm glad I do! Also when I view a non-friends photo in original size I get a full screen shot with the note at the top about only friends being able to download it, left clicking does nothing and no dialog box appears as shown in your photos above. I get no option for original size viewing, only full screen. I love the idea of this album, webshots is so terrible about informing thier members of things.Hope you are having a great weekend. Don
