  • Hi Eric, Please do not think that I have forgotton you, I have had lots of problems with the PC, which hopefully seems to have been sorted out. It was a good day out, and like you I think the Sun did not do us any favours, however you have managed some excellent shots. a lovely album of some of the characters at the festival. hope you are well, Ken

  • Hi eric, this is an absolutely fabulous album. Colourful, interesting, exciting are all words that spring to mind. I've never seen the like and the significance of it is a mystery to me, but it looks wonderful. An exceptional album. Thanks for visiting my featured album today, and for your kind comment, they're much appreciated. Best wishes from Keith.

  • Hi Eric: When one feels stressed, one of the best receipts against will be looking quietly at all these joyous people! We were impressed to realize such a huge assistance - visibly their dancing is not a must, but a happy time, for them as for the visitors. This folk dancing seems much more developed and traditional than in France e.g. - We profit to thank you for your so kind and always "personal" entries - far from the classical "nice picture"... - Have a good pre-spring time - all good wishes:

  • Hi Eric, What a wonderful & colourful album. Every year we mean to go to watch this & we always forget when it's on. My friend is very into folk & used to dance with Bourne Borderers. It used to take her ages to get the black off her face. Thanks for the tour invite, i might just take you up on it one day. Angela

  • Hillarious...I remember the red faced guys from a prior album..a very strange end-of-christmas custom may I add!! More like a pre-cursor to carnival it seems! Thanks for the smiles, eric! Marita

  • Hi Eric - That's an interesting crowd, alright. It reminds me a little of Mardi Gras, with the costumes. The only thing that seems to be missing from the revelers are: the pints! :) Cheers - Rob

  • Dear Eric, First of all belated new years greeting to you Been a very busy girl what with Chrimbo then been decorating since too but the weather has been so yeuk not felt like getting out too much with my camera anyway. This looked such a fun festival blessed with good weather too, lucky them considering what we've had. I bet everyone had smiles on their faces I couldn't say who was my favourites but I do like the look of the Gogmagog Molly's love thier costumes. Thank then for sharing the pictures with us and thanks too for stopping by my latest album. I was itching to try out my new lens so as soon as the sun came out I downed my paint roller :o) Take care then, Jill
