  • My Dear Barbara......I don't know where to start! How about, this is so beautiful! Such detail. I love murals. I would love to paint scenes on my wall in my own home. I never did anything remotely like that however I am afraid to try it. Also since I do have many health issues I wouldn't want to start something I couldn't finish. I know some people and they'd say "Now Sherri, you don't have to do your whole house or even the whole room". Yet another trait I have is I WANT to do the entire room! Oh well....I'd love to have this on my walls wouldn't you? Or if not this something that is appropriate to your room and taste. Thanks Barbara I appreciate you giving me a heads up and directing me to something you've done that I did need to see. I need pushed sometimes because I put things off! You just did this today! I must dowload and check the next ones out more closely......it's nice to have a friend like you barbara! I have your photo (icon) circulating on my desktop. On to the next one.....

  • Hello My Friend...This is a very beautiful album, and you have done an outstanding bit of work in presenting it. Well Done. Barbara, This is very much like the town of Chemainus, located here on Vancouver Island >>> http://www.chemainus.com/ <<< It as small town that was support by the lumber mills, and when they started to close down so was the town...Murals saved the town...You also can just type in Chemainus on webshots search and come up with loads of the World Famous Chemainus Murals..Thanks for sharing your beautiful album...Big Hugs, Grizz

  • Hi Barbara! You said I should Check out your Denton, Florida mural pictures. You did a great job. Is there anything in Denton that they haven't painted a mural on. You have inspired me to put some of my mural pictures I have up on Webshots. My wife and I were pasing through Topinish, Washington on a auto trip and stopped there for lunch. Topinish is world known for growing hops and to publisize this fact they had a week long celabration inviting known area painters to design a mural and then during the week many artists would help to paint that artists mural completing it in that one week. All murals were on the exterior walls of buildings primarily downtown. A must see if your ever in eastern Washington. The pictures I have were not digital. Another great spot to see murals after the fashion of Denton is Portsmouth, Ohio. After about 5 or 6 years I think they have completed all their Murals which depict the history of the city from the first settlers to the present. All mural are painted on the city's floodwall which was erected after the great flood in the late thirties. The wall is about 30 feet high and runs for almost a mile. These I'll get up on webshots as soon as I can. Look for it. I also have
