  • This is a very interesting album Mike. Thank you for providing the excellent history and photos. It's sad to see such devastation of what was. Warm wishes, Paula

  • Hello LizaLady! There are far far older buildings in the USA than 110 years old! Philadelphia, for instance has buildings dating back over 300 years of age, I believe. That is not surprising, that city, perhaps, is America's oldest and lovely with it. You live in Washington state, but DC has old buildings, and the White House has a great history, and was burned down by the British :) There are Native American remnants which are equal in age, or even older, than this Castle!!! Ho hum!

  • Very nice album, and all the time it took to write a story with all the pictures. I live in Washington State, US and an old building here is maybe 110 years old. It's hard to imagine the history in other parts of the world. I can see this album as a featured album one day. I think you should also tag it in travel, England. Thank you for being the tour guide. Myrna
