Interesting! Does rdkal want to get in touch? I too am descended from Joseph Carlyon - he is my great great grandfather too. My great grandmother is one of the daughters - i will have to check which one - she moved to Gillingham, and married a naval man. One of my relatives has a very comprehensive family tree going back way past Joseph Carlyon!

Great pictures! It's about time this was done, good job! I grew up in Mylor Bridge in the 1960-70's and have many wonderful memories. We used to congregate at the Black Smiths' on the way home from Mylor Primary School and watch the horses being shoed. I remember seeing Mink running under the bridge by the playing field. Love to go back some day. Thanks!!
