On February 4, 2007 the Queen Mary 2 historically sailed under the Golden Gate Bridge. The QM2, is the largest ship to ever sail underneath the bridge. Thousands lined the bay to witness this event.

  • Thank you to everyone who's posted a comment. It was really was quite a sight to behold and I was also very thankful for the beautiful 70 degree January weather as it took about an hour for the QM2 to sail into the bay. :)

  • I used to live in Sacramento nad I was a travelling salesman. Business took me to San Francisco a lot. I use to bring my lunch, then pull out at that rest stop un de bridge to eat, and to just enjoy the scenery and the refreshing air. Thank-you so much for your wonderful photography. It was my pleasure to download a picture into my collection.
