My father was on the USS Maryland and had to go stand on top of capsized Oklahoma to signal back if there were any sounds of survival inside.

AirCommander, I find this album just too interesting to put down, more of my father's war I knew a little of, but never enough. Navy background, minesweeping was my vocation as a BM3, but it was time to get out when my four years were up. Now retired and more interested in WWII era photos/stories and what have you. I'll take a little Vietnam on the side, but WWII is more of an interest. Will you be putting up more albums in the future? Care to chew the fat, let me know and I'll drop my email on one of your photos. Thanks again for this album. ron
