Historic and very interesting. Knapping flints has interested me very much since I found an arrowhead as a boy many years ago. THanks for sharing this great album. Ray

Hi Eric! Thankyou for sharing this interesting history of a place I had never previously heard of. It is a truly amazing story and you have documented it well. Sites like this are a treasure to be preserved.. Thankyou for viewing some of my Wildflowers and I hope you really get over here one day. Yes, Perth weather has broken many records this year, starting with the wettest January, the driest start to winter, below average min temps, above average max temps, etc.. Seven weeks of winter have passed and today has been our first "real wintry day" with 21mm rain in my gauge in the last 12 hours, and more forecast for the coming days. It is badly needed.. Hope you are coping with your heatwave OK.. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Hi Eric! This is a very fascinating album. I have never heard of flint knapping before (shows you how much I know about history). You did a great job with the photography also. Thanks for the guestbook message congratulating us on our grandson. He's doing good for a preemie. They live two hours away from us, so we're going to visit on Tuesday. Has your grandbaby arrived yet? Have a wonderful weekend. Sharon

A very beautiful album with many splendid and original compositions, congratulations. Also many thanks for your kind comment on my album about Namibia. Cheers, Peppino.

Dear Eric, Absolutely fascinating and I'm not sure why I was thiunking of Time Team when I was viewing this, maybe its because I have seen flint napping being done on there and realise just what skill is required to get a sharp blade. So many skills like this have been lost in our modern times. I found this fascinating as Im sure you did too. Thanks for showing us these pictures. Take care now, Jill
