Your albums have been a source of my wallpaper for a while. I especially like your photos on the Alaska RR. Keep up the good work.

Emily; Check out the site for the Marine Corps University. Many of the photos here are from the National Archives and there is also an official Marine Corps site.

Loved your pic. of Pickle Meadows. (Cold Weather Training). I'm from Bridgeport and always enjoy pics. of home. I miss it terribly and come to webshots often. Don't know why I didn't see yours before. Once again Thanks. Also enjoyed your other albums.

The picture of VNF-323 aboard USS Badoeng Strait caught my attention. It was a CVE (AKA - Baby Flattop) I served on the 83 but am a email friend of a sailor that served aboard the Bodoeng Strait who lives here in the San Antonio area. I am in the process of making an album on the CVE 83.Also have a picture of the M C Viet Nam Memorial here in San Antonio. <aplumstead@sat.rr .com>

Hi, Your whole family are Marines. That's something to discuss. USN here, served in the rivers section in 1969-70 as a support unit with the Brownwater Navy with mine sweep boats. Thanks for the education. All appreciated by you and yours. Best regards from the Oregon Coast. Ron

I am a retire sailor who is switching his amateur military historian status to professional (starting a master's in military history). I enjoyed your entire USMC collection. Especially the personal family ones.
