My grandparents were married in Flat River. My grandfather worked for one of the lead companies. They had recently immigrated from the Soviet Union. My grandmother had never meet my grandfather before they were married. This was back in the early part of the 1900's before the Russian Revolution.

What a great find, thank you! My mother's ancestors were from St. Francois, Iron and Reynolds Counties. I go back every couple of years to the area to do research. Unfortunately, I have practically no photographs from the old days. Would love it if you have any old photos of the Middlebrook, Ironton, or Lesterville areas you could post.
