This album and others by "1ltken" are great, especially the shots of Camp Beard and Liberty Bridge. I was there in HHC, 2nd Bn 72nd Armored, S-3 Clerk and Battalion Draftsman, 1970-71. Actually, I was at Camp Beard until the entire 2nd Inf Div pulled up and physically moved east when 7th Inf Div was retired. Lots of memories come flooding back with these shots, including all that "fowl noise" on the west side of Yonjugol(sp?) just outside Beard and RC#1. Had to extend my tour to get out early - never thought I'd get out of there - everyone else ETS'd first. I will post an album of my photos from '70-71, too. Look for one by "wjmntgmry". I'll try to name guys in some of the group shots, too. (It's been a long time, though.) I will also include a few "action" shots taken on the tank firing range. wjmntgmry
