Hi Luc! You have been a busy fellow today; making this fabulous album and having a feature album also. This new album makes me think of my parents' old photo albums (which I now have) of photos from my grandparents' days. That certainly was a quaint, lovely village. My favorites were Rays of Hope, Daydreaming (my very most favorite), The Happy Owner, and Goin' Back Home. You certainly did a fabulous job with this album, Luc. Have a very happy week. Sharon

Hi Luc, what a wonderful album this is!!! One of my favorite subjects is history and I so enjoy yesteryears. When life was simple yet hard in a satisfying way. When people knew one another and cared and shared. The town is fantastic. I would love to see it. You have done a great job with both the photos and the descriptions. A story told through photos and told so well. Would be great to go back in time when people weren't trying to run you over with their fast paced world. Even though the work looks hard with the old tools and such, it was energetic and physical instead of todays mental hassels. :) This is so deserving of a feature Luc. I think it's one of your best. Know it's one of my favorites and has triggered yearnings for a place that is not as crowded as the big cities today. Congratulations on a beautifully done album. Take care my friend, Sharon

Bonjour Luc,You picked a wonderful location to get these truly timeless images and your conversion to sepia toning gives them such an aged appearance. In all honesty,I much prefer sepia to black and white,it just gives the images more authentic ageing,if it wasn't for the sharpness of detail these images could have been taken in the nineteenth century,I'm so pleased you invited me to have a look at them and I'd like to see more people trying their hand at sepia, excellent work my friend,Regards,Rod.

Hi Luc, really beautiful photos, my memories returned to many photos presented by you…in a very nostalgic mood. You have nicely presented charming scenery with a splendid character and mood. A very impressive artistic work is here. I would like to cordially invite you to visit my Egyptian journals. Just a few minutes ago I posted album from Hatshepsut Temple, Egypt. That temple was my photographic dream to be there! If you have time please read my comments under each image… Friendly greetings, Rafal

Dear Luc, this is one of a kind album!!! Bravo!!! Both the contents and the conception are extremely interesting! The idea to have all photos in sepia and B&W is the best choice! We DO hope it will be a feature in the near future. We both wish you a Happy New Year and lots of good health!Friendliesat regards from Gabriela & Yoshiyuki Tanaka

This is a wonderful album! It makes me think just how much we have complicated life with all our advances and technologies! I'm sure people back in that time enjoyed life and family much more, even without all the modern conveniences we have today. I sometimes joke that I couldn't survive back then wothout all my 'toys'...but truly, I think I would be much happier! Thank you for sharing this!
