My dad served around this time. His name was Johnny G. Slack, I think his call sign was Longhorn. I have his Polka Dots patch. I know he flew T-33s and F-86's. I have a few of his metals: DFC,UN Service Metal and others. My email is johnslac@msn.com

Being of Korean descent (born and raised in the USA), I was fascinated to see your color photos. I have a deep interest in Korean history, especially the colonial and wartime periods. If you have any more such photos, please post them! By the way, the building you thought might have been a college or department store was actually the central post office. (At least it was during the occupation.) The more modern building (with the curved front) across the street from it was, and I believe still is, a department store. It was a PX during the Korean War. I have a color postcard of the intact post office uploaded at http://members.aol.com/steakfish/postoffice.jpg. Email: steakfish (at) aol (dot) com.
