  • As a former American Soldier ( 1/52 198th Light Infantry Brigade Americal Division July 1968-1969 ) I am ecstatic to hear at last there will be a memorial that will honor and give homage to all those brave soldier from the Republic of South Vietnam. It long over due that we pay tribute to all that served, those who gave their lives in the cause of freedom. Those who suffered tremendously in the prison camps after April 1975 and those who made it to this country or any country where freedom still lives. They are in their own individual way’s heroes and they should be though of and treated with the utmost respect. There are so many words I would like say, so many feeling I would like to express, I salute each and every person who served and I please at last we give them all memorial.
